Research. Sustainability. Outreach.

KUBI Discount Cards are available for sale now for 2014-2015. You can contact any of the KUBI employees in order to get one or come look out for our tabling in the Union.

We have successfully run a pilot study funded by the Kansas Soybean Commission in which we operated a campus bus on B20 for 4 weeks. We hope this will lead to operating more KU busses on higher blends in the future.

We are very excited to announce our new partnership with the KU Greek Community.  We have teamed up with the different "house moms" to create a sustainable way for the fraternities and sororities to recycle their used cooking oil.  AXO was the first house to participate, and soon thereafter many of the additional houses also joined our cause.  On our first oil pickup, we collected just shy of 100 gallons of oil to convert into biodiesel.

The Eldridge Hotel will now be donating 15 gallons of their used cooking oil to KUBI every week.

KUBI Discount Card sales are officially underway for the 2013-2014 school year.
